p/s - we were not in our kebaya kebarung or kebatat because we wanted to go shpg at KC ipoh right after that.

Project Viva - 26th May 2005
|
|
| Quote: | To all part III project students
I've just sent pages and pages of advice to the examiners about project vivas.
For you I have less advice:
1. Turn up on time and at the correct place (normally your supervisor's office).
2. Remember to bring your copy of the project report with you to the viva.
Iain McNally
Part III Project Co-ordinator |
To all Part III of ECS, all the best with the viva! Huhu.. Assie, bangun awal, jgn tido pas subuh. Ingat jalan nak gi Faraday. Please dont forget to bring your handphone, just in case you're lost sbb panic melampau. And yes, bawak copy project report. And another yes, it's 9 o'clock! Not 2.45pm anymore. Dont forget your 2nd supervisor's name. If they ask too many questions, just remind them to save the best for last, they have 4 more students to be examined after you. Dont worry, just 10%. Ok. Gosh.
To my beloved 1st supervisor, Happy Birthday in advance! Jgn tanye soklan susah2 sgt, it's your birthday anyway, so please be nice, this will reduce the sign-aging on your face (if any) Anak2 buah Dr P*L*L, nak celebrate bday dy x? K Fitt? Any idea? Jom wat surprise party at 13 or HV lab!
Ya Allahh.. please make it easy for me.. Amin....

Football from a girl's eyes - an emotional analysis
|
|
1-Pakcik Runi kempunan
2-Pakcik Runi lagik
3-Pakcik Runi dan rakan2 yg kalah
4-5-6- We are the championnnnnnnnn..
First and foremost I must say here, I'm so looking forward to watch this FA Cup final. Reasons? 1stly, I just hat-e Man U, [Since this is my space, so mane2 MU fans jgn nak emo2 di sini. [Amaran keras ni] Haha.. Pisman. It's a free country isn't it? ] 2ndly, I tot uppa henry is playing but he's not, 3rdly, aku mmg tgk sporting events yg final2 jek, tayah laa penat2 nak tgk satu season, 4thly, saje nak lambat2kan session study group aku. heheh..
Anyway, aku x kesah laa tadik match Kelab Bola Kampung Dusun(KBKD) vs MU ke, Sitiawan Football Club- SFC( only God knows if there's any ) vs Man U ke, I'll support KBKD and SFC. Haha. No 7 and no 8 Man U specially, sakitnyeeeee mate ku memandang. [sessi memprovoke ni nampaknyeh]
Arsenal mmg kene belasah laa gak tadik, sampai aku rase cam nak preparekan paramedic siyap2 kat dalam bilik ni just in case MU score and aku dpt heart attack terus. Tatahannnn.. degupan jantung yg teramat deras. Ok, one thing why I cant watch this kind of 'TV Show' is because I tend to be so emotional, LOUD and the tendancy to sakit jantung is there. Not just me, kech lagik dasyat. Sanggup tu lari berganti-ganti dari monte ke hartley mase half time nak tgk bola. Patut aku charge laa sekepale ticket masok bilik aku cam masok millenium stadium tuh, leh laa aku kumpul duit nak beli TV licence.
If you're looking for further updates or analysis of the match here, sorry, offside pun aku x paham. I need to learn la nanti from experts sampai faham.(dah jumpe dah sape) Haha. Untung2 leh jadik referee kalau Man U main, leh aku kasik red card pd org2 yg menyakitkan mata memandang. Dream onnnn assie.. keskes..
Uppa joni and gavin henson were there as well hohoh.. i do hope they were supporting Arsenal like me. hahaha
Uppa joni, see u sooooooooon

Sophomore Year
|
|
Wuhu. I'm very very very occupied lately with reading. Reading what? Power system engineering? No. No. I've ordered 60+ catalog from the internet and every day I'll get like 10 different catalogs. Masok exam ni. They are my core text books right now. There is one clever person out there suggested me to recycle my core text books with Kitar Semula. Gosh. How could you say dat to my favourite books? Anyway, if you ppl wish to take up this module as one of your options, the code is SHPG3003 : An Analytical Study of Girls Favourite Pastime. If you are taking it this semester, the exam venue is at the Great Hall of West Quay. I study this subject every semester and never fails.
p/s - Idd, i steal/rob your pictures. Dont kill me, please
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa Colours of life - us after 5 years... [tade gambar mase skolah nak letak]
Sophomore Year
Orinally done by Shod Adam
Sophomore year, finally - PRAISE THE LORD!!! But, not so fast...it was, after all, another year of 'Assalamualaikum Kak'. But the fact that we were no longer the so-called 'babies' of the pack, that sort of made us larger than life - well, we WERE large, weren't we? [ Apparently, I'm still LARGE. Gosh ]
Anyway, the form ones came and we were the busiest bee in the world - buzzing aroundshowing them who's the boss around here - US!! Heh...House meeting? Darn!! Every week, without fail, the hottest agenda would be "F2, kasik salam!" and "F2, jangan perasan smartlah!!!" Oh brother. [Sunday was the scariest day ever, we just wish that God can remove Sundays forever from the calendar]
Too immune were we with all this that after every house meeting, we would rendezvous in the class, compare what was said between each of the Houses and just laughed our heads off. Talk about being really rebellious. Oh yeah, that's what we were, and still are, up until now. That was what made us what we were. Heh. Poetic, ain't it?
To those who KNOW...remember this? " 2C macam sarang tikus!! " ( don't forget to say that in a very suppressed, deep voice...) That really hurt! One of our fondest(iyo ko?) memory of our last usrah in college. Yep, no mistake. USRAH. You might wanna write that down, just to reconfirm the absurdity. Go figure. [2C was my class.. hahaha.. we have this small cubicle at the back of the class where the tikus2 lived happily. No laa.. Mane ade tikusss! Isk Isk.. I met the kakak who said the 'favourite' line last 3 years in Scotland.. haha..she's sooo sooo sooo nice and i just can't believe that she was in the list - the scariest senior of her batch during the golden times ]
Okay, since last year we didn't beat the senior play so this year, another attempt was made. With a bombastic, sci-fi play called "The Beginning of the End", and a backdrop which turned out to be the world's largest jigsaw puzzle, we, the Second Formers of 1996 won....The Best...LIGHTNING!!!
Whoops !
"Excuse me," was the announcer's words before amending that to Best Lighting. It wasn't so bad after all, in spite the volcanoes that looked like it just came out of planet Ooze and bushes that resembled a 7 colored orangutan!! We did a great job! [ Whoaa.. ni mmg taleh lupe la.. keskes.. I was incharged of light*N*ing with K jah and what we did was a disco-like effect during the war scene and thank God the control buttons in the control room were still intact after our play ]
Apparently 12 of our pals went to BTN and came back with our very first batch song. There was this one weekend when our BTN friends, Alley Cats hair and all, came to every class and sang with all their might - they sounded like the Alley Cats all right...or was it the Carpenters? Funny how some of us even shed a tear or two. [definitely not me. Popsy and the alley cats.. haha]
If any bunch of girls were entitled to any muscle building competition, surely we'd all in the grand prize. No joke. Hey, it's true, remember the toilet renovation? God, going up and down the stairs with 40 gallons of water in one hand and toiletries in the other, waking up at 4 in the morning to bathe and blablabla... the list goes on. It was a hard time but we pulled through, didn't we? (HOW??? Life's greatest mystery there) Despite those who 'perfume bathed', heheh... Well, at least we got the title Malek Noor the second!
After the Finals, everyone counted the days for the year to end and start the next as a PMR candidate. Yikes!
bersambunggggg....

Freshman Year
|
|
Hoo.. I miss all my friends so much. Specially after chatting with azra yesterday and keep on replying emy's email after half a minute (helloooo.. do you know that YM or MSN ever exist?)
The story below was written by a group of talented-merepek-yet-hilarious-englishdrama-directors-actresses-scriptwriters of my batch for our graduation book. A story of our 5 long yearssssss in TKC. (mase zaman2 after kuar skolah dulu kalau bace balik mende ni mmg rase nak nangis laa..haha) Here it goes...
Freshman Year
Originally done by SemaQ Anuar
TKC used to be a name passed over dinner tables among our aunts and grand-uncles. Prestigious, best school in the world, the girls used to ride in first-class train coaches...blablabla. They talk so fast even WE didn't have the strength to even attempt in listening to their conversation.
To us, it used to be just a simple myth. Who would ever guess that this so-called "miracle school" they've been parading all this while would become our second home for five years of our teenage lives, a place where we lived a life we would never trade for anything else in this world.
College at first sight...ARRGGHHH!!!!
Our first day was completely spent in exchanging weird smiles and most DEFINITELY no conversation at all. But all was saved when a few of very rare species ofrotor-mouths would strike up a conversation to break the utterly boring silence. The rest? Heh, better not mention the many gallons of tears shed that day. Funny why no one suffered dehydration.
First house meeting - hah, so much for the words " Prestigious School " and all the exaggerated hoo-hars our aunts mentioned. It was a nightmare so horrible that made 'Scream' look like the Sesame Street. We were bombarded with ear-slicing screams demanding, repeat, DEMANDING that we give the 'salam', wipe the tables before meals and a whole infinite number of stupid errands one could ever think of. But hey, it was fun. It wasn't then, but now that I thought 'bout it, it was great, in a weird sort of way. Back to the story.
Anyway, Ole-ole Toda practices made us forget the 'hardships' we faced, at least a bit. We started to get to know each other, as well as showing off our so-called talents, if there is any. God knows how we managed to survive - the Seniors looked as if they were close blood-brothers (or rather, blood-sisters?) of the Banshee and the Harpy. Peace, Sis.
The aftermath - nearly 2/3 of us wanted out. Including me, in fact. I figured if I stayed any longer i might turn homicidal and start massacring every senior in sight. Heheh... But luckily the dining hall food experienced a sudden mutation. The sie of the chicken pieces doubled, we actually had PEACHES for dessert and awesome stuff like pizzas, hot dogs and brick-sized chocolate cakes in the menu. Guess that changed our minds, when all others had failed. For, in our case, the stomach rules WAY beyond the mind.
Our first English Drama was under our 'hip' English teacher, Mr S.S.Pillay. It all started with the Set 1 girls monopolizing all the committee posts, causing quite a chaos among us. Nobody did their jobs, we used shoe whitener on our backdrop, our script was a self-penned work and let's not get into the other gory details, but on top of that we still thought we had the greatest play in the world, so great that we could even beat the senior plays. What a joke. All of us stood crossed-eyed as the senior play crushed ours 6 feet through the hall parquet. Still, it was a good lesson for us. At least we know what to do next year.
Time passed slower than a sick snail as we went through our lives suffering half to death in the Senior's wrath (exaggerated, I know...but back then it sure FELT that way). Finally it was time for our College Sisters to leave us, after all this time going beyond their patience holding on to our spare cupboard keys, and comforting us whenever we mentioned the word "Quit". So all of us formed teams to organize the CS party. It seems that we were all VE-RY prone to intra-batch fights, for even in doing this so-called noble thing we managed to fight over the party venues. Sure, it sounds lame, and weird, even, but it happened. After that, life was spent in counting the days, willing the freshman year to end.
If only we had a remote controller to fast forward it a bit. Heh.
To be continued...
