Can u see the electrical treeess, gurls? That is one of our samples, EPR, hmm tested at 12.5 kV if I'm not mistaken. Dr D0dd allowed me to keep that sample coz i hmm.. did something not very nice to it soon after taking the pic. Keskeskes.
Why another report Dr D0dd? why oh why. Cant you hear the screaming of my batin? (erk, ape ni) The very least you can do is to postpone the dateline, please. I'm about to eat bugs' laptop if you didn't listen to me. Or, hm. I can burn down another building at the uni.  (no..no.. it wasn't me! I didnt do anything to mountbaten. I was in Msia when it was on fire!)

To Abg Dino, hope its not too late to congratulate you and teammates for the latest crown - king of europe. Cant wait to see u in action in germany less than a month!  To Uppa Henry, you played well, seriously, but qada' and qadar has spoken the result. At least you own a McLaren SLR, Carrera GT, and an Aston Martin Vanquish at the age of 27 ok!!! (haha..dah x de kene mengene) Gosh, I dont even have a kancil, rusa, kenari or angsa(unser)! Guess I have to start playing congkak at international level ni.

The Individual Research Project(IRP), A1 poster and power point presentation submitted.
3 weeks left. Check list :
1. Linearisati0n of a thermist0r characteristic Report - Programming and Circuit Simulation  - Due next wednesday
2. High Voltage : Conference Paper - Due next thursday
3. IRP Peer Review - Due next friday
4. Advance Material : 2500 words essay x 2 + Lab experiment + Lab report
5. Exam : R0botics and Aut0mation - 7th June
6. IRP Student Conference and Project Presentation - 13th June
= Graduation on 25th July, i-Allah. Amin.

We spent almost 6 hours in the HV lab for lectures and doing the electrical tree-ing experiment last thursday. Interesting tho seeing the trees growing in the insulation. Jgn main2, dalam electrical cable/equipments pun ade pokok juge. This is our next assignment, kene tulis report in conference/journal format. Uwa. I have had enuff of reports to write..aaa..
The distance from pin-point(left) to the electrode(right) is about 2mm. Super duper small distance. The trees growth rate is quite rapid gak la, depends on the voltage supplied to the cable. This phenomenon occurs in insulation like epoxy resin (yg ktrg test last thursday) or XLPE or impregnated paper etc2. Chewit. Terase terer pulak tulis mende2 technical ni. Haha. During our experiment, when the insulation was exposed to a voltage of 20kV(20 kilo volt ok, bukan 20V), the process took about <6 minutes to grow those bushy trees. If the tree reached the other electrode (right hand side) and bridged them together, then breakdown occured. Dodd ade tunjuk laa video ade spark2 sume bile both electrodes are bridged together by the trees. Very dangerous trees. Dont try to grow this trees in any of your electrical cable at home. About the experimental setup, bugs is the expert. Aku tukang tangkap gambar and operator pengeluaran je mase tu. Haha.

Within the field of electrical engineering, treeing is a process whereby branching channels, or chains of small fractures, are created within, or on the surface of, a solid dielectric material as a result of cumulative partial discharges.
Occurrence and causes
Treeing occurs when a dielectric material is subjected to excessive high voltage stress over a long period of time. Treeing is observed to originate at points where impurities, gas voids, or mechanical defects cause excessive electrical field stress within small regions of the dielectric. An impurity or defect may even result in the partial breakdown of the solid dielectric itself. Over time, a branching 3D tree-like figure is formed within the dielectric. The tree can grow to the point that it eventually causes complete electrical failure of the dielectric. In similar fashion, 2D treeing can occur along the surface of a highly stressed dielectric. Over time, the growing partially conductive trail can result in the complete failure of the dielectric. These branching 2D and 3D figures are sometimes called Lichtenberg Figures. |

My pc crashed last week, and i lost the whole collection of everything(pictures,videos,files) that I have(in the pc) for the past 3 years in soton.. so sad. shed 2-3 drops of tears when i realized that 
But I found this in my uni filestore. Gambar zaman tok adam. Mase first year. Tgk pun tau toye2 je. Haha. Ok, mari kite saksikan turutan gambar dari tahun ke tahun, gambar for MSA photo session for hari raye.

Every year, abah akan gunting my gambar raye from paper, keep them nicely, and proudly showed them to me when i went back for summer holiday.
Raye baru ni, abah x sempat nak gunting and simpankan. The picture was published one week too late.

Hehehe.. This handsome boy is 5 today! Sorry la babes, we didnt know it's your bday so datang bawak perut je la, kalo tau leh singgah Shell jap beli biskut ke ape ke. Keskes. It has been ages since the last time I met him. And he is still the same darling armand
 
Sampai2 umah K Sheems(yg juge dah berkurun x jumpe), Manman was wearing his 3-d-sunglasses, watching The LavaGirl and The SharkBoy(? ) movie. Owh, dont worry if you've never heard of that movie, under 7 je kot yg tau citer ni. Dah ramai sampai, majlis pun bermule. 1 coklat cake and 1 dinosor cake with 5 candles on each cake disembur by Manman within the blink of my eyes. I'm pretty sure Candid Syndrom pun x sempat nak capture moment yg begitu cepat mcm tu. Kamerafon aku yg hampeh lg tak payah la. He was getting so excited, potong cake, makan cake then bukak pressiessss yg banyak.

Then, we proceed to the next event, GAMES(for kids only)!! Aku rase skang aku yg terlebih excited. First musical chair. Bugs jage radio, me n K sheems cheer. Hahahaha. FunFunFun! Oh, Akmal and K Shaza were engaged with their 'doctors' talk'. Next game, tampal ekor pony sambil mate blindfolded. Ish, ape name game ni ek. Manman champion la, bday boy mmg terer Next, tiup2 buih sabun jd bubble (nape aku x tau name game2 ni.dah tuwe agaknyeh).
Nampak x pony tu, tu la game ktrg main.
 
Sungguh payah nak amik gambar statik manman. Maybe kene wat satu model manman statik kat madam tuso baru senang sket.
